Although young, Sam has already picked up years of experience training both everyday people and elite level athletes. Working at the prestigious Rowville Sports Academy and Rise High Performance facility, he has established a solid knowledge of strength and conditioning, injury prevention and injury rehabilitation. His knowledge and coaching ability led him to take on a role at Dandenong City Soccer Club (National Premier League) as a joint sports scientist, strength and conditioning coach and rehabilitation coordinator where he has worked since 2017. Sam completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at Deakin University in 2018 and is looking to undertake further studies in Physiotherapy within the next year.
Sam as a Personal Trainer:
Sam’s experience coaching those with both sport- and health-related goals allows him to work with a variety of populations with different goals in mind. In the gym, he uses his eye for detail to facilitate perfect exercise technique, which ensures optimal movement patterning and motor learning. Sam enjoys the challenge of tailoring exercise programs to suit the specific needs of the individual and loves nothing better than seeing these modifications pay off. Getting to know those who he trains and engaging in friendly banter along the way, Sam is happy to welcome clients with any goal!
