After retiring from a career as an elite swimmer in 2006, Jeff has remained in the industry now as a coach and trainer, helping others to achieve their own fitness goals.

I’ve been going to Fitline for a couple of years. It is a great studio, I like that it is small and personable and everyone knows each other and the trainers are all invested and interested in people’s success. I can totally recommend Fitline, I love it here, come 3 times a week without fail. The atmosphere in the studio is great, really friendly and not at all intimidating, no matter what your level of fitness. Jeff and Mac are both really encouraging of whatever you’re doing. I can also totally recommend weight-training to women! Before I came here I had no idea I would love lifting weights, but I do, and it’s been amazing. I’m completely cured of all my little neuroses about being too fat, I have a much healthier relationship with food, and I love what being strong in the gym does to your mental state. Every woman should deadlift!

I’ve been training with Mac at Fitline for the last 6 months. Mac took a conversation with me to understand my goals and priorities, and then went on to assess the way that my body moved. From this assessment, he was able to establish a plan to work on my weaknesses and achieve my goals. I’ve heard it said that once you know what “good looks like” that you can clearly see what’s missing from the those who don’t meet the same standard.

My goal has been to improve my body composition, whilst being strong and conditioned to compete in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I had my first competition recently and was glad to win my first fight. My performance continues to grow as I work on the mat with my BJJ coach, and off the mat with Mac and the team at Fitline.
